, malaysia. >> the pilot said i'm at 35,000 feet checking in and cue all ll lum pur, got you, thank. then handed you over to ho chi minh, air traffic control, contact them on the radio frequency, okay good night. very standard conversation. we've also now got the cargo manifest and this is also interesting it gives us a sense of what the plane was carrying and it's nothing that's unusual. kourier material, mail, that type of thing, fruit on board and then this consolidated cargo which included lid lithium ion tris. in this case on the manifest, cargo manifest, they make a very important point that it was all pack aaged according to standar and they note the flight risk but say they have taken the appropriate steps to ensure they are safe. where does that leave us? it leaves us right back here at square one where we're yet again looking for this plane. we know this flight went like this and came all the way down here at least that is what we led to believe. we still don't have any piece of debris, actually would have been more like this, still no debris whatsoever off the coast of au

with breaking news. a new transparency in the disappearance of malaysia airlines flight 370. just minutes ago, finally, malaysia's government made public its first report on the plane's final known moments. the big headline for you, the plane had vanished for a full 17 minutes before officials even took notice. and yet it took a remarkable four hours, four hours, before an official rescue operation was launched. it is the government's most thorough accounting yet of what investigators know or suspect. cnn's will ripley has been sifting through this report. he joins us from malaysia's capital, kuala lumpur. tell us more, will. >> reporter: hey, carol. yeah, this is a five-page report and other supporting documents attached to it. we've been going through them. here are the things that really stand out. you talk about those 17 minutes when nobody even noticed the plane was missing. okay. that said, then we talk about the four hours where what we see here, this is a report that kind of describes all of the events that were happening over those four hours. and what it says to me, carol, is that t

for that missing malaysia airlines plane flight 370. australia's prime minister says the undersea search is expanding. it may take longer for results. off perth, australia, looking for missing debris. all 239 people on board are now presumed to be dead. there is new video that has been released by yea's coast guard that -- south korea's coast guard. captain is first to become rescued. all the captain and his crew have now been picked up by authorities. apologizing for the way the recovery is handled. 187 victims with 180 still said to be missing. >>> meanwhile prosecutors of south korea raiding the coast guard as part of their mission to learn how rescuers responded when they first learned the ferry was going under. prosecutors say they are seeking the records from the emergency call center that received calls from passengers that the the ship was sinking. >>> in colombia, workers are heading for strike. the second walkout in as many years. the lack of government subsidies and rising costs are hurting their businesses. alexander guapa reports. >> growing potatoes, that is changing. >> i
